When - February 6th, 2021 starting at 10:00 am, registration opens at 9:00 am.

Where – Starting and finishing at Hess Shelter, the hike will be roughly 8 miles.

Cost - $15.01 per person, online registration. Same day registration available from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Only cash or check will be accepted the day of the hike.

The menu will consist or Chili, Vegetarian Vegetable Soup, rolls, hot chocolate, coffee, water.

Join us for a nice wintry walk through the beautiful landscape of Oglebay Resort & Conference Center on Saturday, February 6th. The guided hike will start and finish at Hess Shelter. Registration will open at 9:00 am and the hike will depart at 10:00 am.  All participants will enjoy some food, drink and the radiating heat from the fireplace. Be sure to bring your camera for those unique and exhilarating shots. You will encounter spectacular views, waterfalls and wildlife along the way.  All participants should arrive dressed for the weather and must wear a hiking boot of some sort. Participants will be outside for the duration of a couple hours at least.

Itinerary for the event.

• Registration opens at 9:00 am

• Into to Trails of Oglebay 9:55 am

• 10:00 am group hike leaves Hess Shelter - access to Nature Trails - new addition to A.B. Brooks Trail - regroup at access to Bridle Trail across from 88 - to bottom of Serpentine Trail - showcase the newly resurrected Burroughs Trail - Regroup at Par 3 - Cross 88 to Roosevelt Trail - Driehorst Trail to Falls Vista Trail - back to Hess Shelter for food and drink. The hike should last at least a couple of hours.
