Did you know animals have superpowers? From super senses to amazing camouflage, nature is full of incredible abilities—and this week, we’re putting them in the spotlight!

Campers will explore the wild talents of animals that fly, leap, sneak, and sense in ways we can barely imagine. Each day features up-close encounters, hands-on activities, and creative games that reveal the superhero skills animals use to survive.

At the end of the week, each camper will design their own “super animal” and bring its story to life.

All activities take place at the zoo Monday through Thursday. On Friday afternoon, we’ll celebrate with a swim at Oglebay's outdoor pool—because even superheroes need to cool off.

Before 3/31/2026 a discount of $17.93 will apply.
Late fee
After 8/10/2026 a fee of $15.00 will apply.
Cancellation Policy
Payment for all programs is required at the time of registration. The zoo reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason. If the zoo cancels a program, participants will be notified by email and/or phone at least 24 hours prior to the program's start time. Participants of programs cancelled by the zoo will be given the opportunity to schedule into another open session (of equal value), apply the refund amount toward a session of a different value, or receive a full refund. The following refund policy applies to individuals wishing to cancel a Summer Camp registration: Registrations canceled 2 weeks or more from the start date will receive a full refund or scheduled into another available session (during the current year). Cancelling 7 - 13 days prior to the camp will receive a 50% refund or scheduled into another available session (during the current year). No refunds will be granted for cancellations less than one week from the camp's start date and the program fee is not transferable to another session.
