ZSI:  ZOO SCENE INVESTIGATION- 4th-8th grade

A practical joker is creating havoc at the zoo. Animal names and graphics are changed; misinformation is prevalent; and even one of the golf carts is vandalized.  Your help is needed to collect evidence, like fingerprints, and interview suspects. Earn your investigator’s badge as you solve these mysteries and help zoo visitors learn the true facts about the animals as you learn some forensic techniques.  Each day will begin at the zoo, but in the afternoons, we’ll take a swim at the outdoor pool. Want to come to the program, but don’t want to go to the pool? Try our ½ day option from 9 am – 12 pm!

Cost: $175 for full day, $145 for half day 

Dates: July 7th-11th

Times: 9 am – 3 pm

            9 am – 12 pm (Half Day Option – No Pool)

Early Discount
Before 4/30/2025 a discount of $14.50 will apply to all Half-day Participant Registrants.

Cancellation Policy
Payment for all programs is required at the time of registration. The zoo reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason. If the zoo cancels a program, participants will be notified by email and/or phone at least 24 hours prior to the program's start time. Participants of programs cancelled by the zoo will be given the opportunity to schedule into another open session (of equal value), apply the refund amount toward a session of a different value, or receive a full refund. The following refund policy applies to individuals wishing to cancel a Summer Education Program registration: Programs canceled 2 weeks or more from the start date will receive a full refund or scheduled into another available session (during the current year). Cancelling 7 - 13 days prior to the program will receive a 50% refund or scheduled into another available session (during the current year). No refunds will be granted for cancellations less than one week from the program's start date and the program fee is not transferable to another session.
